Who is this trip for?
First-timers to China, roughly age 20–45 — though if you're fit and up for it, you're more than welcome at any age. Heads up: it's a fast-paced, multi-city trip (about 8/10 on the energy scale), so come ready to move.
What's the pace of this trip?
Brisk but doable — around 8/10. We cover four cities in nine days with high-speed trains and one short flight between them, early-ish starts and plenty of walking, balanced with free evenings and time to breathe. Full days, big payoffs, a little downtime.
What time does the trip start & end?
We set off together at 12 pm on Day 1 (14 Nov) from the hotel — so plan to land and check in before noon. The trip wraps at 6 pm on the final day (22 Nov); book your flight home any time after, and your host helps you plan the airport transfer.
What if I want extra time somewhere — or more shopping?
Totally valid. We stick to a high-level itinerary of the must-cover spots; if you'd rather linger somewhere, skip ahead, or shop a little longer, you're free to peel off, do your own thing, and meet the group back at the next point. Your host helps you plan it.
Where will we stay?
Comfy, central 4★ hotels (or similar luxury stays), twin-sharing, always a short walk from the action:
• Hong Kong — Holiday Inn Golden Mile, Tsim Sha Tsui
• Shenzhen — ICON LAB Hotel, Futian
• Guangzhou — Country Inn & Suites by Radisson
• Shanghai — The Bund Puyan Hotel
Do I need a visa?
Indian passports get visa-free Hong Kong (with a free online pre-arrival registration) and need a China tourist visa for the mainland. Your host shares step-by-step checklists for both.
How do money & payments work?
China is near-cashless — set up Alipay & WeChat Pay linked to an international card before you fly, as physical cards are rarely accepted on the mainland. Your host walks you through it.
Will I have internet?
Grab a travel eSIM before you go, and keep a VPN handy for Instagram & WhatsApp on the mainland — so the reels (and the group chat) keep flowing.
I'm booking solo — will I know anyone?
Most girls come solo! It's a small, women-only group of just 5–7 with comfy twin-sharing — you'll have made friends by day one.
